1. These terms, and who they are between
These terms govern the services SparkleHomes provides, and they are between you — the person or organisation engaging us — and SPARKLEHOMES INTEGRATED SERVICE LIMITED, trading as SparkleHomes, of House 58, Beside Elite Club, Elite Road, Idi Aba, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.
They apply from the moment you pay for a booking or accept a quotation from us. Where we have given you a written quotation or booking confirmation, that document and these terms are read together; if the two ever conflict, the quotation or confirmation wins, because it was written for your particular job and this page was not.
Please read them before you book. If something here does not suit the arrangement you have in mind, tell us and we will try to agree it in writing rather than leave you relying on a page you disagree with.
2. The services we provide
We provide four services, each of which you may see referred to by the name we use operationally when we quote and schedule:
Bespoke Home & Office Maintenance, which we quote and schedule as Home & Office Cleaning. Ongoing, tailored care for residences and business premises, scheduled around your life, never in its way.
Detailed Restoration, which we quote and schedule as Post-Construction Cleaning. Post-construction and renovation cleaning that transforms raw finishes into move-in-ready elegance.
Discreet Pest Management, which we quote and schedule as Fumigation. Refined, professional-grade protection that safeguards your space without disruption.
Interior Styling & Space Planning, which we quote and schedule as Interior Design. Thoughtful space planning and finishing touches that turn a property into a sanctuary.
We also offer Premium Service, which is not a separate service but our highest tier of care, specified around your property and your standards.
What any particular engagement includes is set out in your quotation or booking confirmation. We will not carry out work outside that scope without agreeing it with you first, and we will not quietly add to it.
3. Where we work, and when
We work across Abeokuta, Ogun State, including Oke-Ilewo, Oke Mosan, Kuto, Leme, Ibara, Adigbe, Onikolobo, Sapon, Idi-Aba, Lafenwa, Camp and Asero.
We work Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and we do not carry out visits on Sunday, which is a rest day for our team. We can sometimes work outside those hours by arrangement; ask us rather than assume, and we will tell you honestly whether we can.
If your property is outside the areas listed above, we may still be able to help. Ask, and we will tell you before you commit to anything.
4. How a booking is made, and when it becomes an agreement
Basic Washing and Deep Cleaning can be booked on this website. You choose the property size, how often you would like us and a date; the site shows you the price before you commit to anything; and you pay for the booking.
Your agreement with us comes into existence when you pay — whether you pay through the payment link on this website or make payment on the number shown on this site. Until payment is made, what you have sent us is a request: the slot is not reserved, and we would rather you did not make other arrangements that depend on it.
Premium Service is not booked on this website, and neither are Detailed Restoration, Discreet Pest Management, Interior Styling & Space Planning. Those are arranged on consultation: tell us what you need, we will look at the property where that helps, and we will put the scope and the price in writing before anything is agreed. Submitting the booking or enquiry form for them is a request for that conversation — it is not a payment, and it is not a contract.
We confirm every booking by WhatsApp or by phone. If you have paid, or sent us a request, and heard nothing within one working day, contact us directly rather than wait.
We may be unable to take a booking — no team free on the date, a property outside the areas in section 3, or work that needs a trade we do not offer. We will tell you plainly rather than let it drift, and where you have already paid we will refund you in full. We do not keep money for work we cannot do.
5. Prices, estimates and quotations
Our service rates are shown on the pricing page, in Naira. They are the rates we work to, and we do not quote one figure on the website and another on the phone.
Any figure the booking form shows you while you fill it in is an indicative estimate drawn from those service rates. It is not a quotation and it is not a price we have agreed. Your final price is confirmed on consultation, once we know the property and the condition it is in.
Detailed Restoration, Discreet Pest Management, Interior Styling & Space Planning and Premium Service are priced on consultation only. We publish no rate, range or "from" price for them, because the work varies too much for any such figure to be honest.
Where a property turns out to be materially different from what we were told — significantly larger, or in a condition that changes the work involved — we will stop and agree a revised price with you before continuing. We will not complete the work and then present you with a larger bill.
6. What is included, and what we need from you
Every engagement includes our own equipment, tools, specialist gadgets where applicable, and all cleaning consumables. Our team arrives fully equipped. You need only provide water.
So what we need from you is straightforward: running water, access to the property at the agreed time, and electricity where the work requires it. If any of those will not be available, tell us beforehand — some work simply cannot be done without them, and a wasted visit helps neither of us.
Please also tell us about anything we should know before we arrive: a surface that needs particular care, an item that must not be moved, a pet, a fault in the plumbing, a room we should not enter. We would far rather be told than discover it.
If you would like us to hold keys or use an access code, we will agree that with you in writing. Keys are handled with care and returned on request.
7. Payment
For a booking made on this website, the amount payable is the figure shown to you before you pay, and the full amount is payable at the time of booking — not on the day, and not after the visit. That payment is what brings the agreement into existence, as section 4 explains. We take no deposit and no part payment: you either book and pay for the work, or you have not booked it.
For anything priced on consultation, the amount payable, when it is payable and the methods we accept are set out in the quotation or booking confirmation we give you for your particular job. Either way, we tell you the figure before you commit, and we do not change it afterwards without agreeing it with you.
If a payment arrangement has not been put in writing, ask us to put it in writing. That protects you as much as it protects us.
Payment made through this website is handled by Paystack, on Paystack's own payment page. No page of this site collects card or bank details itself, and we do not receive your card number. Paystack charges a transaction fee on each payment, and that fee is added to the amount you are asked for at the checkout; the exact sum is shown to you there before you confirm.
We will never ask you to send us a card number, a bank password or a Bank Verification Number — not by form, not by WhatsApp, not by email, not over the phone. No genuine request from us will ever ask for those. If anyone claiming to be us does, it is not us; please contact us on the number on this site.
8. Changing, postponing or cancelling a visit
Plans change, and we would rather you told us than left us to find out. A single refined visit or a standing arrangement — the programme bends to your calendar, never the reverse.
You may cancel a booking within 24 hours of making it, for any reason or none, and we will refund you in full. Tell us by WhatsApp or on the number on this site. The 24 hours run from when you paid, not from the date of the visit — and the window closes when the visit begins, whichever comes first. A visit we have already carried out cannot be cancelled.
After those first 24 hours a booking is firm, and it is moved rather than cancelled. Tell us as soon as you know and we will reschedule the visit at no extra cost, provided our rate for that work is unchanged when you reschedule. If our rates have moved in the meantime, we will tell you the difference before anything is rearranged, and the decision is yours.
If we arrive and cannot get in, that is a visit we could not carry out. Where your quotation or booking confirmation says what happens then, that applies. Where nothing has been agreed in writing, we will discuss it with you rather than impose a figure.
If we have to move a visit — which we avoid, because punctuality is something we hold ourselves to — we will tell you as early as we can, explain why, and offer you the earliest alternative. If that does not suit you, you may cancel and we will refund anything you have paid for the visit that did not happen.
9. Our satisfaction commitment
Raise any concern within 24 hours of service and we return to put it right, at no additional cost.
To take it up, contact us within 24 hours of the visit and tell us what is wrong. We will arrange to return at a time that suits you and put right the part of the work you are not happy with. There is no charge for that return visit, and we will not argue about whether the concern is worth raising.
The commitment covers the work we carried out. It is not a refund guarantee, and it does not extend to work we were not engaged to do, to a result the property could not have given in the condition it was in, or to deterioration that happens after we leave. Where we cannot put something right, we will say so honestly and discuss what we can do instead.
10. Your property, valuables and pre-existing condition
Please put away cash, jewellery, documents and anything else of particular value before we arrive. We ask this of every client, and it is not a reflection on our team — it removes any question before one can arise.
Some things in a property cannot be made new by cleaning. Worn or lifting surfaces, cracked grout, bleached or sun-faded fabric, damaged paintwork, long-standing staining and hard-water scale may remain visible after a thorough clean, and in some cases a surface already failing will show it more clearly once the dirt is gone. Where we can see that in advance, we will tell you before we start rather than after.
If an item is delicate, antique, unusually valuable or needs a particular product, tell us and we will either work to your instructions or decline to touch it. We would rather leave something alone than risk it.
11. Our team, and what we ask in return
Every team member is carefully vetted and trained in proper technique and the safe handling of professional-grade products.
Keys handled with care, privacy protected, every detail attended to as though it were our own home.
What we ask in return is a safe place to work. Our team will not work in conditions that put them at risk, and will not accept instructions to use a product or method that is unsafe or that would damage your property. If that situation arises, they will stop and we will call you.
Our team members are engaged by us, not by you. Please do not ask them to take on work outside the agreed scope, or to accept a private arrangement — direct it to us and we will quote for it properly.
12. Pest management: safety and re-entry
Fumigation and pest treatment involve professional-grade products, and the precautions are not optional. Before any treatment we will tell you what preparation is needed, who and what must be out of the property, how long the property must stay empty, and how it should be ventilated before anyone goes back in.
Those instructions are specific to the treatment and the property, so they are given to you at the time rather than printed here. Please follow them exactly, and tell everyone who uses the property. If you are pregnant, if anyone in the household has a respiratory condition or allergy, or if there are infants, elderly residents, pets or fish in the property, tell us before we treat — it may change the product we use or the precautions we advise.
We cannot accept responsibility for harm caused by re-entering the property earlier than we told you to, or by not following the preparation and ventilation instructions we gave.
Pest treatment reduces an infestation; it does not permanently immunise a property against one. Where recurrence is likely without follow-up treatment, we will tell you that at the outset rather than let you expect otherwise.
13. Limits on our responsibility
If we damage your property through our own fault or carelessness, we are responsible for it. Tell us as soon as you notice — within 24 hours where possible, as in section 9 — so that we can see it while what happened is still clear, and we will put it right or make it good.
We are not responsible for the pre-existing conditions described in section 10; for damage to an item whose fragility, value or special requirements we were not told about; for loss we could not reasonably have foreseen; or for a delay caused by something outside our control, such as a lack of water or electricity at the property, loss of access, severe weather or civil disruption.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit — in particular liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
We do not publish a maximum figure for what we will pay, and that is a deliberate decision rather than an omission. What we are responsible for depends on the work, the circumstances and the conditions set out above, and a cap fixed in advance would be arbitrary in both directions — too low to be fair in a serious case, and beside the point in a small one. We assess each case on what actually happened, and we tell you plainly what we will do about it.
Where cover beyond this matters to you, ask us before you book what insurance is in place for the work you are engaging us for, and we will tell you.
14. Governing law, changes to these terms, and how to reach us
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute arising from them or from the services is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ogun State.
Before it ever reaches a court, please raise it with us. Most complaints are a misunderstanding about scope or a piece of work that needs doing again, and both are quicker to fix by talking than by writing letters. We will take it seriously and respond.
We may change these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed, and the terms that apply to your booking are the ones in force when we confirmed it — not a later version. Where a change affects a booking already confirmed, we will tell you rather than rely on you to re-read this page.
If you have a question about these terms, or about anything in them that does not match what we told you: mysparklehomes@gmail.com, +234 705 173 1138, or House 58, Beside Elite Club, Elite Road, Idi Aba, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.
Our Privacy Policy covers what we do with your information.
